John Rasper - President & CEO
John Rasper is the owner and chief executive officer of DeKalb Office.
He began his career in corporate furniture with DeKalb Office Equipment (now DeKalb Office). After his early stint with DeKalb Office Equipment, John was recruited by Steelcase Inc. and continued to work with them for 10 years in a variety roles including sales manager and district manager.
John was later approached by the original owner of DeKalb Office Equipment to purchase the business, which he did in 1983. Under his leadership, DeKalb Office has grown to become one of the largest and most award-winning Steelcase dealers in the Southeast, with a broad portfolio of office furniture products and services to meet the needs of workplaces of all types and sizes. John believes in creating long-term value for our employees and customers and has developed a corporate culture filled with trust, humility and integrity.
John graduated from Ashland College in 1970 with a BA in Business Administration and Marketing. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Gwinnett and Forsyth Chambers of Commerce and the Board of Advisors for the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. John serves as the Chairman of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. He has been a charter member of Vistage, an organization for CEO’s for 22 years now. |

Dick Meier - Chief Operating Officer
Dick is the chief operating officer at DeKalb Office.
He has a broad business background having worked in companies in various industries. These businesses sold primarily in the B2B market ranging in size from small to Fortune 500. Throughout his career, Dick has held leadership positions in finance, marketing and general management.
Dick joined DeKalb Office in 2005 as the chief financial officer and was promoted to his current role in 2007. He has been active in a number of industry groups focused on the development of the dealer business.
Dick received his MBA in Marketing from Syracuse University. He is a sports enthusiast. |

Tammy Roberts - Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Tammy brings her design, facilities management and purchasing background to her role as Vice President of Sales & Marketing of DeKalb Office. Her experience as an interior designer for Eastern Michigan University helps her provide DeKalb Office with an understanding of the architectural and design community’s unique needs. In addition, Tammy’s previous employment with Chrysler Corporation as a facilities manager and furniture buyer gives her an intimate knowledge of how corporate furniture purchasing works.
Tammy prioritizes quality processes, making the best choices for DeKalb Office’s customers and employees while helping customers utilize space as a vehicle for improving their bottom line. Tammy serves on the Board of Trustees for the IFMA Foundation and is an active member of CoreNet Global. |

Ed O’Connor - Director of Sales
Ed has more than 28 years of experience in the commercial interior furnishings industry, including 21 years with Steelcase Inc. While at Steelcase, Ed served as Market Manager for the three largest Steelcase dealers throughout the southeast, overseeing Global Alliance Customer relationships, national accounts and the healthcare market.
Since first partnering with DeKalb Office more than 11 years ago, Ed has focused on project management, customer fulfillment and project delivery. In May of 2006 Ed became DeKalb Office’s Director of Sales.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Ed holds a B.S. in Business Administration. Past major customer relationships and projects include Georgia Tech’s Klaus College of Computing, Hospital Corporation of America, Turner Broadcasting, Cox Enterprises, SunTrust Bank, Home Depot, Kaiser Permanente, Coca-Cola Enterprises and The State of Georgia. |

Kevin Hatch - Director of Operations
Kevin has 27 years experience working in various support and professional roles within two dealerships, with positions held in the following areas of function: Project Manager, Warehouse Manager, Service Manager, Network Coordinator, Manager of Networks, Manager of Technical Services, and Director of Operations. All 19 years experience with DeKalb Office has been associated with operations through planning, scheduling, and implementation of Network projects. |

Joe Rasper - Director of Sales
Joe has been with DeKalb Office since 1996. Before becoming our Director of Corporate Accounts, Joe was General Manager for DeKalb Office’s Home Depot account. He led a team of 10 associates that handled projects within The Home Depot Headquarters, Home Depot Stores, Divisional Offices and Distribution Centers all across the country. He worked with Home Depot to strategize on new facility installations, existing facility installations and the management of Home Depot’s assets. Joe has a BBA from the University of Georgia. |
