With technology evolving at the speed of light, learning infrastructure and classrooms are falling behind. Educators are shifting to more constructivist teaching methods as opposed to passive note-taking. It’s past time to rethink the classroom.
DeKalb Office along with Steelcase and E&I Cooperative, will hold their 6th annual Education Symposium later this month. This is a ½ day event addressing “Innovation, Education and Learning Spaces. With key speakers and panel discussions comprised of local and national leaders within the education industry, attendees are able to see active learning spaces in action, discuss obstacles within their own districts/schools, and hear research based on actual learning trends.
Attendees leave with an abundance of information to take back to their schools and districts. Most return the following year! “What a wonderful symposium full of information I will surely use,” replied an administrator from Emory University.
There’s really no sales pitch here. DeKalb Office is happy to serve as your education partner in this game of “cat and mouse” between technology and the classroom. You can count on us as a resource and we’ll help guide you along the way.
We look forward to seeing you later this month!
